The Abu Dhabi Police has busted a car scam syndicate with the arrest of the criminal gang’s 54 members, who allegedly defrauded investors of up to Dh1.3 billion.

Dubai’s 3-day Super Sale starts today, May 18, just in time before the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

Shoppers can get a discount of up to 90 percent in over 1,000 outlets across the city.

Items like clothes, bags, shoes, perfumes and furnitures, among others from over 250 leading local and international retailers and brands are up for grabs.

This Super Sale is one of two big sales scheduled every year in Dubai. The other one will happen the National Day weekend in December.

The sale was organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment from the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing. It aims to take Dubai to the bigger scene of year-round shopping destination.
